Embracing My Purpose: The Journey of a Passionate Paper Goods Entrepreneur

In this blog post, I will share my personal story of how I found my passion for invitations and paper goods at a young age, and how it has shaped my life's journey. From overcoming setbacks to finding fulfillment in my business, this is a celebration of pursuing one's dreams and purpose in life.

Working at a party store in high school opened my eyes to the world of invitations and paper goods. The creativity, joy, and personal touch that went into creating beautiful stationery captured my heart. It was in this vibrant environment that I discovered my passion for bringing people together through the art of paper goods.

Here's a picture of the sweet little invitation store, It's My Party. Back then you ordered invitations from an album, did not see a proof beforehand, and picked up several weeks after ordering. SO MUCH has changed since then. Also, you can see racks of invitations. Back then, customers would pick their invitations and then we would print on top of the already designed invitation. Limiting. We would also order these style invitations from a catalog.... oh yes, my how things have changed since then!

Life is never without its challenges, and I encountered my fair share of setbacks and "speed bumps" along the way. These obstacles tested my resilience and determination, but they also taught me valuable lessons about perseverance and the importance of staying true to my passion.

My close relationship with Jesus Christ has been the guiding light in my journey. Through faith, I have found the strength to navigate the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, and to see my business as a platform for spreading love, joy, and positivity. My purpose goes beyond creating beautiful paper goods; it is about pointing others to Christ through my work and interactions. Today, I am grateful to have built a successful business doing what I love the most. Every invitation, card, and paper creation is infused with the same passion that ignited my journey. The joy of seeing my customers celebrate life's special moments with my creations is a constant reminder of the fulfillment that comes from pursuing one's purpose.
